Rumelia Mavrud Reserve 2013 won the Grand Trophy of BIWC 2017

The red wine Rumelia Mavrud Reserve 2013 won the Grand Trophy of the 6th edition of the Balkans International Wine Competition (BIWC 2017) for best wine. BIWC 2017 took place from 1st to 4th of June 2017 in Sofia, Bulgaria. In this competition, wine producers from the Balkan Peninsula, the Black Sea region, East and Central Europe, as well as other European regions, can participate.

A total of 342 Gold Medals and 195 Silver Medals were awarded during the Sélections Mondiales des Vins competition held in Quebec, Canada. For the 30th edition of the largest international wine tasting competition in North America, Awarded were the Bulgarian wines Rumelia Merul Cabernet Sauvignon 2010 and Rumelia Merul Merlot 2010.

Gold medal for MERUL RESERVE SELECTION 2010 – Competition Mundus Vini 2012, Germany. For the 12th time Mundus Vini Great International Wine Award selected the best wines in the world. For six days, a total of 300 experts from around the world tasted 6019 wines. Ultimately, the experts awarded 1875 wines through completely blind tastings.

Hong Kong exhibition

Rumelia wine cellar participated in the 4th issue of the International wine and spirits exhibition – Hong Kong International Wine&Spirits Fair, which was held from 3rd to 5th November 2011 in the exhibition center Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Center, Hong Kong, China. Bulgarian companies participated in the International wine and spirits exhibition in Hong Kong for the first time. At a total exhibition area of 90 square meters, in hall 3C, stand A36, with a vision underlying the Bulgarian uniqueness, Rumelia wine cellar was represented with the assistance of the Bulgarian small and medium enterprises promotion agency (BSMEPA).
