The vinification of the “Erelia” series comes from specially selected grapes for controlled fermentation. The wines of this series mature in new French and American oak “Baric” barrels for a period of 12 to 36 months, and then they are blended to continue to developing their qualities. This growth continues in the bottle while in a specifically dug underground tunnel. The wine cellar Rumelia targets to meet the requirements of the most cultivated wine connoisseurs.
“Erelia” is premier class wine of the cellar that combines the advantages of four varieties – Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Mavrud. All the types of grapes are from our own vineyards, with controlled extraction.
They are vinified separately, and each is approached individually. After quiet fermentation, the wines are stored in French and American barrels for more than 18 months.
Erelia name comes from the old name of the village of Smilets – Erelia. This is the territory where our vineyards are situated.
