The wines of “Merul reserve” series are produced by “Cabernet Sauvignong”, “Merlot” and “Mavrud” varieties. These wines are formed in small oak barrels “Baric” for a period of 12 to 24 months, than they are bottled and left for maturation for a period of minimum of 6 months. The wines are distinguished by intensive red color with light “tile” color nuances, characteristic for the old wines.
Bouquet of these wines is rich and fascinating – it combines the fertility of the grape (ripen fruit, cherry, sour-cherry, black currant, plumb) with the wood aromas typical for the high-quality oak barrel (seasonings, clove, vanilla, smoke and light over-burned tones. The taste of these wines excites the wine lovers with softness and nobility, good length and lasting taste impressions with wonderful aftertaste.

Impressing wine, that has matured in French oak barrels – barriques for a period of over 12 months, during which period the wine has developed rich bouquet, combining fruit aroma of the grape with the typical aromas of seasoning, vanilla and smoke, characteristic for the high-quality wood.
“MERUL RESERVE” – Cabernet Sauvignon
Stylish wine, matured for over 12 months in small Baric type oak barrels. The wine develops an intense garnet color. The mature aroma is complicated with black currant and blueberry, over-burned tones and caramel, accent of dried fruits and seasoning. The taste is harmonic, with good density and long, aromatic final.
“MERUL RESERVE” – Mavrud
Elegant wine, produced by the unique Bulgarian variety Mavrud, matured in small baric barrels with ruby-red color and “tile” color nuances. The aroma is multilevel with nuances of over-burned, smoke, dry leaves, seasoning and resin. The taste is with good density and softness.

High quality wine, that combines the advantages of the ancient Bulgarian variety Mavrud with the classical Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. Matured for over 12 months in French barics and developed complex bouquet of ripen fruit, dry leaves, vanilla and tobacco.
